With over 15 years of experience in the field of education, Sheeba Kooliyattayil Hashim is an internationally experienced educator, cognitive development specialist, and entrepreneur with a strong passion for transforming learning experiences and unlocking the potential of every child.
From early years classrooms to founding IQurate
India: where it began
Her journey in education began at the age of 18, following the completion of her Early Years Education Diploma in India, where she started her professional career as an Early Years Teacher. She later gained experience in primary and upper primary education, establishing a strong foundation in teaching and child development.
Malaysia: teaching and building a school
Her passion for education took her beyond borders, leading her to Malaysia, where she began working as a Teaching Assistant in a Chinese school and subsequently gained experience in primary and upper primary education. During her time in Malaysia, she played a significant role in establishing and developing a homeschooling institution, working closely with its founders and taking on key responsibilities across academic, administrative, and operational areas. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment contributed to the institution’s successful growth and establishment.
Maldives: secondary school teaching
She subsequently served as a Secondary School Teacher under the Ministry of Education (MOE) in the Maldives for one year, further enriching her international teaching experience.
United Kingdom: early childhood and professional development
Her professional journey continued in the United Kingdom, where she gained valuable exposure to early childhood educational institutions and schools. She contributed to institutional orientation initiatives and professional development programmes, supporting educational practices and developmental approaches.
Academic qualifications
Alongside her professional journey, Sheeba remained committed to academic excellence, completing her BA, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), and Master’s degree while continuing to develop her professional expertise.
Singapore: SOI cognitive development training
Driven by a deeper interest in understanding how children think, learn, and develop, she pursued specialised SOI (Structure of Intellect) cognitive development training and successfully completed a certified training programme in Singapore.
Dubai: founding IQurate Learning Centre
With a vision to introduce a more holistic, skill-oriented approach to education, she relocated to Dubai and embarked on her entrepreneurial journey. As a woman entrepreneur, she founded IQurate Learning Centre in Dubai, bringing together her extensive international teaching experience, leadership background, academic qualifications, and specialised cognitive development training.
